Gisteren schreef ik al dat de nieuwe expo 'Birds of Paradise. Pluimen en veren in de mode' in het Antwerpse ModeMuseum (MoMu) aanrader is. Een nog grotere aanrader is de expo bezoeken met een gids. Je ontdekt zo nog veel meer dan 14 weetjes in deze post en het bezoek krijgt een extra dimensie. Er is geen minimum aantal personen per gids (het maximum is 20). Momenteel kan je je ook inschrijven voor het Nederlandstalige gegidste bezoek dat Callewaert-Vanlangendonck Gallery organiseert op zondag 4 mei 2014. Afspraak op zondag 4 mei om 12 uur aan het ModeMuseum, Nationalestraat 28, Antwerpen. De rondleiding duurt tot 13 uur met aansluitend een receptie in de galerie in de Wolstraat 21-23. Hiervoor vraagt de galerie een kleine bijdrage van 10 euro per persoon, die je ter plaatse kan betalen. Inschrijven moet van tevoren gebeuren via een mailtje naar gallery@callewaert-vanlangendonck.com.

Yesterday I already wrote that the new exhibition 'Birds of Paradise. Plumes and Feathers in Fashion' in the Antwerp fashion museum (MoMu) is a must see. I highly recommend visiting it with a guide. You'll learn even more interesting facts than the 14 in this post and the whole experience is much more rewarding. There isn't a minimum number of people required to hire a guide (the maximum is 20 persons). You pay 75 euro for the guide + the entrance fee to the museum for each person. At this moment you can also sign up for the guided visit (in Dutch) organized by Callewaert-Vanlangendonck Gallery on Sunday the 4th of May. You gather on Sunday May 4th at 12 o'clock at the fashion museum, Nationalestraat 28, Antwerp. The guided visit is scheduled till 1 pm, and following the visit there is a reception at the gallery at Wolstraat 21 - 23. The gallery asks a contribution of 10 euro per person for the tour, you can pay it at the place of appointment. You have to sign up in advance by sending a mail to gallery@callewaert-vanlangendonck.com.

The gallery is specialized in post-ward avantgarde. It shows principally (Antwerp) constructivism by Guy Vandenbranden, Paul Van Hoeydonck, Mark Verstockt and others in the two exhibition rooms in the Wolstraat 21 - 23 in Antwerp.
