'Black is the new black' - die slogan duidt op de liefde die de modewereld koestert voor de kleur zwart. Technisch gezien is zwart zelfs geen kleur, maar de afwezigheid ervan. Aangezien mijn blog echter een modeblog en geen fysicablog is, kunnen we die verwoording door de vingers zien. Het feit blijft: modeliefhebbers hebben iets met zwart. Kleur wordt vaak gezien als opvallend en 'out there'. Niets mis daarmee, maar kleur kan ook anders gedragen worden. Deze outfit combineert maar liefst drie kleuren (én zwart) maar blijft toch relatief ingetogen zonder te braaf te worden. Ideaal voor als je eens kleur wil dragen op een andere manier. 'Black is the new black.' - that quote evokes the love of the fashion crowd for the colour black. Technically black isn't even a colour, but the absence of all colour. Since my blog is a fashion blog and not a physics blog, we can overlook that technicality though. The fact remains: fashion lovers adore black. Colour is often regarded as out there and rather loud. Nothing wrong with that, but colour can be worn differently. This outfit combines three colours (and black) and still is relatively subdued without being too plain. De langere zwarte jas, tas en schoenen geven de outfit de chiquere vibe van een zwarte outfit en maken het geheel iets stoerder - net zoals de earstud. De smaragdgroene sjaal zorgt dan weer voor een levendige toets. Het lichte jeansblauw en beige vormen een ideale ondergrond.
The longer black coat, shoes and bag add the chicness that black always brings to a look and add just a little edge - as does the earstud. The emerald green scraf brings liveliness to the outfit. The pale blue and beige are the ideal backdrop.
