  • comfortable maar elegante zwarte pumps (Tim Van Steenbergen by Ambiorix!)
  • manchetarmband
  • lakleren riempje

What I packed for four days in Florence:
  •  two dressy shorts: one in black and one in white
Ultimate tip: wicker chairs are lace shorts wordt enemy, but that problem is easily solved when you put a large scarf in your handbag that you can use to sit on if necessary.
  • a white shirt - terrible because it will wrinkle in your luggage but is a staple you'll need
  • a silk scarf - Italian style
  • dark blue jeans (because they are more chic than light ones)
  • a black strapless top
  • a back T-shirt with a bow on the shoulder - it's all in the details
  • a white and a grey T-shirt with special details
  • a black cashmere scarf (for later in the evening)
  • a black blazer
  • a jumpsuit
  • a cocktail dress
  • a leather pencil skirt (haven't worn that one)
  • flats (which I also didn't wear, but better safe than sorry)
  • comfortable yet elegant black pumps (Tim van Steenbergen by Ambiorix!)
  • a cuff bracelet
  • a vernice belt
  • a larger handbag for during the day and a petite handbag for dinner
  • last but certainly not least: designer sunglasses
You can notice I mostly packed basics in neutral colours, which makes it easier to combine stuff. The secret of looking fashionable in basics is all about the details: good materials, edgy accents (like a big bow),

I went home with a lot more clothes though thanks to the stores in Florence and the outlets Space and The Mall but more about that in a later blogpost with insider tips.
