Outfit inspiration: transitioning from summer to fall

Aangezien de zomer - jammer genoeg - op zijn einde loopt, koos ik deze outfit voor een wandelzoektocht in Sint-Truiden. De (namaak)leren legging, blazer en sjaal zorgen voor de nodige warmte, terwijl het zijden topje en de groentinten een zomerse toets toevoegen. Because - sadly - the end of summer seems near, I chose this outfit for a walk through the city of Sint-Truiden. The (faux) leather leggings, blazer and scarf provide the necessary warmth whereas the silk top and shades of green add a summery touch. Some details make this rather classic look more fashionable. Door harde en zachte materialen te combineren (zijde, leer, wol, metaal, bamboe) wordt het geheel veel interessanter.
De textuur van de top (ruitjes) speelt in op de trends van de zomer en het najaar.
Ook het doorzichtige element bovenaan de top speelt in op de 'see-through'-zomertrend.
Het bamboe-accent aan de sjaal zorgt voor een speciale toets.
Met een armband als statement-accessoire wordt de outfit afgewerkt.

Stijltip: let er bij een legging steeds op dat je top lang genoeg is om je achterste te bedekken. Leggings zijn niet hetzelfde als broeken - echt niet. Lees verder onder de foto's.

The texture of the top (squares) is on trend for summer and autumn.
Also the see-through element of the top is right on trend for this summer.
The bamboo detail of the scarf adds a special touch.
A statement bracelet completes the look.

Faux leather
De legging is trouwens in namaakleer en kan in de machine gewassen worden: héél handig. Ik vind dat het 'leer' er echt uitziet en een leuke textuur heeft. Het merk is Lenny B. Paris en ik kocht de legging bij Stijn Helsen in Hasselt.

The 'leather' leggings are actually faux and can be machine washed: very practical. I think the 'leather' looks very real and it has a nice texture. The brand is Lenny B. Paris and I bought the leggings at Stijn Helsen's shop in Hasselt.
