A fashion girl mag dan wel de eerste high fashion cartoon in Vlaanderen hebben gelanceerd, er zijn nog andere cartoons die het soms over mode hebben - al is het niet het hoofdthema. Op het Cartoonfestival van Knokke-Heist loopt er een speciale thematentoonstelling van de klassieker 'Liefde is...'. Voor het eerst ontdekte ik dat er ook uitspraken bij waren over mode. En inderdaad ook modegewijs kan er veel liefde gegeven worden.
A fashion girl may have launched the first high fashion cartoon in Flanders, there are also other cartoons that sometimes talk about fashion - although it isn't their main theme. At the Cartoon Festival of Knokke-Heist there is a special exhibition of the all time
classic 'Love is..." . For the first time I noticed that there were also
drawings about fashion. And indeed, also fashionwise a lot of love can
be given.

Ook het strand is in sommige 'Love is...'-cartoons te zien, heel toepasselijk voor een tentoonstelling aan de kust.
Also the beach is shown in some 'Love is...'-cartoons - very appropriate for an
exhibition at the seaside.

Tijdens het festival is er ook steeds een internationale cartoonwedstrijd waarbij het publiek kan stemmen voor zijn favoriet. Ik moest natuurlijk stemmen voor deze modecartoon.
During the festival there's always an international cartoon competition. The public can vote for its favorite. Naturally I had to vote for this fashion cartoon.
